What are Complementary and Alternative Medicines?

Conventional medical practice in the United States is organized around the concept of diagnosis and treatment of disease through the use of medicines manufactured. The systems of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) are in the philosophies of health care in general and techniques that have existed for centuries and in the prevention and treatment on the use of natural remedies. As people are increasingly obsessed by things in and around areas affected, the complementary and alternative medicine has gained popularity and scientific research is beginning to show signs of clinical efficacy.
